“It’s a certified banger. After all the doom and gloom of the past 12 months this track is the pick-me-up that we’re all needing” – Backseat Mafia
“There’s no bullshit, it’s [three] guys defining life as twenty-somethings working in a lower class city. Remember the name [The Brackets] you’re likely to tear them becoming massive pretty soon.” – Backseat Mafia
The Brackets] are not [un] like any early 00’s indie band you’ve heard before. [Desperately] Trying to write a World Cup song as good as World In Motion. Best enjoyed with a few pints.
[Northern indie for your precious ears]
An indie rock project formed in Leeds circa 2019, who’s favourite sounds are: Muggy 00’s indie, Superchunk, Pavement and Trust Fund. Their favourite pastimes include Birdwatching, Model Villages, Parallel Parking, Sauce-making and Meeting Gary Lineker.
“A vibrant groove-filled trio based in West Yorkshire. With their foundations in indie rock, their music fuses hip-hop, punk, indie, surf & soul, and still maintains a consistent yet diversified sound.
Their current ep release, ‘Root Beer’, was met by fans to critical acclaim, and their live shows continue to stir interest around the local area”.
“Attending a live performance, many have been impressed & quite frankly surprised to see drummer, Hezekiah Tacardon, covering percussion whilst also singing the band’s lead vocals. The duty is shared by guitarist Evan Martin, who, along with Hezekiah, deliver an original blend of lush vocal harmonies. The music is delightfully supported by the adventurous bass-playing of Patrick Spence-Lewis: filling out the group’s sound and bringing an undeniable groove to every song that Quentin makes”. – Simon Lewis, 2020
The Last Programme or abbreviated to TLP are a rock band hailing from the West Yorkshire area.
They prize themselves on their own unique carefully crafted Live performances that have become a staple to their name in their local town. While having not released any music yet they still have had the experience of their crowds singing lyrics back to them.
As for music each member has inspirations from different genres and Eras that are all brought to the table and displayed through their music
To describe TLP, words like energetic, powerful, and diverse fit perfectly.
