“Tower Place were impressive. They do that kinda rap influenced alt-rock thing or raucous punk influenced indie thing” – Local Sound Focus
“Very definitely a band to catch if you get the chance.” – Local Sound Focus
A 4 piece indie/post-grunge rock group from Leeds, drawing influences from the likes of the Subways, Nirvana and Kings of Leon. Their debut EP is set for release in the new year.
“Melodic anthems with a youthful rawness harking back to a 90s DIY culture. Musically they combine the songwriting sensibilities of Indie Rock staples like Oasis and Arctic Monkeys, with the atmospheric sound and production of modern-day artists such as Inhaler and DMAs.
Reece Beck are a 5-piece Indie Rock band from Skipton consisting of Vocals (Luke Midgley), Lead Guitar (Harvey Holme), Rhythm Guitar (John Greenwood), Bass Guitar (Owain Turvill), and Drums (Jack Barugh).
“High Windows showed a whole lot of intrigue and promise, with shades and hints of Morrissey, Arctic Monkeys and even Elvis” – Old Man Blues
They’re a dynamic four piece Leeds based Indie Rock band. Named after the seminal Larkin poem, they aim to explore the dark romanticism of everyday life in angular, muscular pop music. They’ve been gigging around Leeds in such venues as Hyde Park Book Club, The Lending Room, and the Leeds University Union, and are about to release their debut single ‘Is This What You Want?’. Their influences range from Arctic Monkeys, the Smiths and David Bowie to Phoebe Bridgers and Kate Bush.
“It flies by whilst also leaving you wanting more – which is always a good thing if you ask us.” – R. A. Hagan, ¡Dios Mio! –
Born in a bedroom with a dream of the stage, Case Open is the product of 22-year-old songwriter and producer Liam Casey’s creative vision. With an eclectic taste in the soundscape, he surrounds himself in, his own output is nothing short of the same fate, with video game-styled motifs in ‘I’m Not Famous’ being heavily contrasting with heavier tones found in tracks like ‘Brains’.
